Accent plants are ornamental plants that add interest to the garden. They often work in contrast with their environment to catch your attention. For a small garden or landscape only one accent plant should be needed. For larger gardens and landscapes, two accent plants may be used at opposite ends.
Using too many accent plants in close proximity may make the space seem too busy with no focus.
