Bamboo Planting and Care Instructions
Bamboo plants actually require very little maintenance. They prefer organic soil that drains well but still retains a little moisture with a pH of 5.5 to 6.5.

Daylily Planting and Care Instructions
Daylilies can be planted in spring or fall. Space them about 1 ½ to 2 feet apart. Dig the hole a few inches deeper that the depth of the clump itself. If any green foliage is still on the plant, keep it above ground.

Ornamental Grasses Planting and Care
Ornamental grasses are as close to maintenance free as a plant can get. Whether planted in large groupings, hedges or tossed into the landscape for texture and color, they make great focal points as well as accents.

Perennial Planting and Care Instructions
Perennials should be planted in an area of the garden/landscape that has good air circulation. This will help avoid or cut down on disease problems.

Planting Shrubs
Many shrubs and roses can be planted 2-4 feet apart depending on the variety width at maturity.

Planting Strawberry Plants
Strawberries grow best in well drained soil that has been amended with organic matter.

Planting Trees
In planting trees, consideration should be given to their mature height in spacing. Smaller growing trees, such as dogwoods and redbuds, generally mature in the 15 to 25 foot tall range (depending on variety), while other trees such as maples, oaks..
